First Trip to the Beach...

Graham loved every second at the beach; chasing waves, building sandcastles, and finding shells! I am pretty sure he loved the beach more than Disneyland... go figure! 

Disneyland...

In October we took a very sporadic trip to California. Wednesday after work, Chris, Graham, Annie Belle,  Lezzer and I piled in the Jeep and drove straight to San Diego. It was a dream vacation with my favorite people! Everything about the trip was fun and went very smooth! We spent the weekend in San Diego and went to Disneyland for a day. Since Graham is over 40" tall and a Dare Devil he went on every ride with us including Space Mountain and Matterhorn! I hadn't been to Disneyland since I was 16 and forgot how scary the rides could be to a barely 3 year old! He was wide-eyed the entire time taking it all in! He wasn't too sure about Mickey hugging him! His highlights were Killing the Evil Emperor Zurg on the Buzz ride and meeting "the real" Lightening McQueen!

Sweet Everythings...

Tonight while laying next to Graham as he fell asleep he said, "Mama, I have a secret" He leaned over and whispered in my ear "you are pretty" Follwed by "You are my favorite in the whole world" he then gave me several kisses and exclaimed, "I love to kiss you!" He makes my heart constantly happy!

Samantha Joy's Tea Party..

Jamie and I  had the privilege to throw our best friend, and the worlds GREATEST friend, Jordan, a Tea Party Shower.. TWICE!!! The first time we tried to throw the shower Jord went into labor and gave birth the morning of the shower to the most gorgeous girl Samantha Joy! So we waited a few weeks, froze as much food as possible, kept pinning ideas and threw it again a few weeks later with our two gorgeous guests of Honor in attendance!

We dined on multicolored tea sandwiches; BLT, Shaved Ham & Swiss & Cucumber 

 

We served our version of tea, ice cold DC with floral straws... no sugar cube needed! 

Lindsey baked these beautiful cupcakes with handmade fondant flowers! They were gorgeous and delicious!

Jamie made these insanely cute pinwheels, creatively displayed with vintage number card! 

  

All guest were required to wear a garden fascinator, if they didn't have one we so kindly had a large box of assorted hats to choose from!

Jamie created this darling sign to share your wishes for Sam! They were hysterical and a little bit of a tear jerker!
