I never wanted to do this because I enjoy "blog surfing" and finding people I barely know and reading how wonderful their lives are! It's always awesomely awkward to be able to run into someone I haven't seen since High School and creepily say, "Your new house looks beautiful" or "Your daughter is darling" or "Your vacation to Hawaii looked fabulous"! As creepy as that sounds creepier things have happened to me recently making it almost mandatory to make our blog private.
