Half-Way and A-Okay

I am now on the down hill slope! I am half-way through the pregnancy and feeling great!I had my 20 week ultra sound appointment and it was so fun to see the little guy! It was confirmed that he is a boy. We were able to see his; arms, legs, feet, hands, heart, aorta, bladder, stomach, brains... to name a few! I met with my Doctor this morning he said he reviewed the ultra sound and everything looked great! Besides my outer right thigh being numb and tingly I have nothing to complain about! The second trimester has been great! I take that back I do have one thing to complain about! ALLERGIES! I have been sneezing so much I feel like my eye-balls are going to pop out of my head! I was told by my Doc that the only medicine I could take was Benadryl but that made me way too tired so he suggested over-the-counter Claritin which has helped a little bit! I just don't understand why we have to be allergic to such a beautiful season!

But I will tell you what this beautiful season does bring;

And last but not least, Spring brings the best day of the year, May 3rd, my birthday!!!

We are going to St.George this weekend with Zac and Jordan to bring in my 24th B-Day! I am sure that I will make a post of our adventurous weekend when we return!

Yah whooo... Sammy has been out for a year! He is loving his mission, the people and the language. I have been missing him like crazy this time of year so I thought I would post pictures in case you are missing him too! These pics are from his last beautiful area, San Martin!

IT IS A ....

We are having a BOY!!!
We are so thrilled! I can't stop screaming! The Draino test does not lie! I was told by some wise friends to drink orange juice and eat candy before the ultrasound! He was so hyper, spinning, rolling, punching, kicking, posing!!! Maybe I did not need to eat the bag of sour watermelons!!! Before the Ultrasound Tech announced what the gender was I saw the goods and yelled, "It's a Boy!" She then told me I was right! It was so fun to see him! Wow I can say Him now and not It!!! Now it is time to think of a name for this little guy! Any suggestions?

Boy or Girl???

That is the question... My fabulous and very funny friend Megan has inspired me to test the gender predicting wives tales. I have put a few to the test;

Chinese Lunar Calendar = Girl
Babies Heartbeat = Girl
Weight Gain Distribution = Boy
Draino Pee Test = Boy


As you can see the tests still leave my odds at 50/50! However, I would recommend the Draino Pee experiment to all expecting mothers! Just make sure that you have an eager volunteer to conduct the experiment and take photos and a really funny friend to be the second expermientee specimen to laugh with! Thanks to Bobbi, Megan and I did not have to inhale any harmful fumes. I have my appointment with Fetal Foto on St.Patty's day with the true results, if the baby will cooperate!

You Guessed it Right ....

I'm Pregnant! I am almost 14 weeks along, I am due September 9th! I've had a great first trimester! I cannot complain, I have been nauseated with random cravings and a few headaches. Besides wanting a bed time at 7 my energy has been okay! Chris is glad that we have a dog so he has someone to hang out with when I fall asleep right after work! We had our second appointment Tuesday, we heard the heart beat and had another ultrasound! It was fun to see the baby because it actually looked like a baby and not a gray blob with a beating heart like the first ultra sound! It waved at us, it was fun to see the little tiny hands! I think my curiosity is going to kill me and I will be going to Fetal Foto to find out the sex. For the majority of the pregnancy I have thought I was having a boy but lately I refer to it as a girl!!! Anyone with a prediction, let me know?

Meet Max Weggeland Brewer

Finally I was granted permission by Dan to post pictures of my cute my little nephew Max. I have posted a few of my favorite photos.... I was going to post more but it would have been a tad overwhelming! He is the best baby in the world! I have only ever heard him cry twice, and it is the cutest cry it sounds like a lamb! He will be 2 months on Monday and he is starting to fit in to his clothes, like his argyle vest courtesy of his favorite aunt! I hope you enjoy the pics!

Red Rockin' Jazz New Year!!!

We rang in the New Year with our favorite people; Jamie, Trent, Jordan, Zac, Jerry, Mehmet, Carlos, Paul, Andrei, Larry, Deron, C.J., cousin Ronnie, and our newest friend Kyle. 2008 it's going to be GREAT!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was full of family fun. We started with opening presents together under our first Christmas Tree. We then ate an amazing breakfast at J&D's and was able to witness the girls unwrapping their presents from Santa. We then headed over to Dan's to talk to Sam in Argentina! He had an accent and forget a few English words! It was so fun to talk to him!
